by John Gaudio I first met Pat many years ago at Comdex. She's a very smart lady in the Public Relations business who knows that the way to an editor's heart is through his stomach. What better way to get exposure for her clients than to feed people a good lunch in a comfortable venue just across the street from the the Las Vegas Convention Center? Over the years I've seen early versions of solid toner color printers, Computers built into beautiful wooden cabinets, Customer Relationship Management, (CRM) solutions, and a turnkey Internet radio station. While the food is good, I've gotten far more from my talks with the innovators she brings to the venue. This year I'm told to expect "VoIP gear, personal and professional audio, video sharing and editing, media centers, car PCs, game technologies, story-telling software, place-shifting media technology, voice privacy enablers, next generation digital toys, notebooks, Hi-Def graphics and video technologies, new computing platforms, home and network servers, CPUs, security, Linux innovations, digital interactive jewelry, DIY radio station and podcasting tools, handheld devices and more." If you don't have an invitation you probably won't be able to see it first hand, but she'll make sure the word gets out. Check out her web site, to learn more. |
