Qwest Dex Yellow pages has many sections for Attorneys specializing in different case types, including one for "Accidents, Personal Injury, and Property Damage." But what if you want to advertise in more areas, or to a larger audience?

There are many ways for attorneys to advertise.  One of the most popular is Yellow Page advertising, and in the Colorado Yellow Pages business, Qwest Dex is King.

Lots of people still go to the yellow pages when they need a lawyer, but more and more are going to search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search.  Attorneys can't abandon the yellow pages, but they certainly can augment the yellow pages with a blogsite.

Blogsites are like yellow pages.  Clients actively search for the services they're seeking, so the people reading your advertising are actively looking for what your do.  Blogsites however have some serious advantages.

Looking for an attorney to handle an auto accident?  Ask Google .  Need a good personal injury attorney?  Go to a search engine.  If property damage is the issue, search the Internet for something like property damage Attorney.  Blogsites are especially beneficial if you're looking for more than local clients, and/or if you're looking for clients in many categories.  You can easily include channels in your blogsite to cover Bankruptcy, Criminal, Divorce and Family Law, Workers Compensation, and everything you do particularly well in between them.

If your blogsite does a good job describing what you do best for your clients, it becomes the center of a cloud of information about your expertise.  You're not limiting your exposure to the one area of expertise as described by a specific section of the the yellow page attorney's guide.  You're also not limited to people using a Denver based yellow pages.  Potential clients around the country, even around the world, have the ability to easily find your blogsite from any computer on the Internet. 

When you're ideal client searches the Internet for a law firm to solve his or her problem, that client is likely to find your blogsite.

Your fingers may do the walking in the yellow pages, but you can let Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, and other search engines do the walking for your future clients on the Internet.  Write good content on your MyST Technology(R) Blogsite, and Google will find it.
