Hugh Hewitt is Wrong. The Colorado Rockies Will Win the 2007 World Series. :-)

Hugh Hewitt is a very smart man, but he's dead wrong in predicting that "it's not in the cards" for the Colorado Rockies to win the World Series because we "haven't bled enough."

I love the Hugh Hewitt show.  Hugh's smart, entertaining, and when it comes to sports, Hugh Hewitt is eminently fallible.  I caught the first hour of his radio show yesterday from Cleveland, and heard him claim that we "haven't bled sufficiently," and that "it's not in the cards" for the Colorado Rockies to win this year's World Series.

Wanna bet, Hugh Hewitt?

A steak dinner for you, the fetching Mrs. Hewett, Madonna Bella, and me says the Colorado Rockies win this year's World Series.  We can settle it on your first trip to Colorado after the World Series is over.

Is it a bet, or do you want to reconsider your prognostication now that the Colorado Rockies have won seven post season games in a row, ten games in a row, and 21 of the last 22 games that they've played?

The Tribe's doing well with a two game to one lead over Boston, but I'm still confident the Rockies can beat either of them, and, BTW, I like my steak medium rare. :-)

Also, I look forward to seeing you at BlogWorldExpo in Las Vegas.

Take care, Hugh, and go Tribe!  Enjoy two more victories before you meet the Rockies.
