Google Finds MyST Technology Blogsite(TM) blog.ReneeFraser.org in Less Than a Week!

Sometimes Google surprises us. The MyST Technology Blogsite(TM) blog.ReneeFraser.org has already been discovered. Will it stay in the Google Index, or disappear for a while, into the Google Sandbox? Only time will tell.

Surprise, surprise.  Google found this new blogsite, blog.ReneeFraser.org, much faster than I expected it to.  How do I know?  I did a site search in Google by typing site:blog.ReneeFraser.org into Google's search box.   So, six days after our first post, and less than 30 days after the new domain, ReneeFraser.org, was first registered, Google shows it in the index.

When did Google find it?  By looking at the results from the site search above, and clicking on the cached link for some of the pages found, we see that even though it took a few days for Google to show us the site, it was actually first found on October 23rd, 2007.  The day after our very first post.

But the best thing is this.  If I Google Renee White Fraser, I find that her new MyST Technology BlogsiteTM shows up twice in the top ten of nearly a million pages, as of today, October 28, 2007.  Less than week after her first post.  Less than a month after her domain was created.  This is a very pleasant surprise. :-)

A Yahoo site search still shows nothing, but it's good to know that the king of search engines has found us so quickly.  Still, we're not home free.  I've seen Google find a site, then lose it in the short term, only to have it show up again later.
