In my original post you'll find links to Junk Science supporting my position. Bumblebee provides no supporting links, but does concede the main point, specifically "that cardon dixoide [carbon dioxide] might not be the main cause." Is global warming real? Of course it is, as is global cooling. Both are part of a cycle that has repeated itself over and over, and will continue to repeat. Al Gore took a tiny piece of information, the fact that over the last few years our average temperatures have increased slightly, and, like Chicken Little, Mr. Gore jumped to the conclusion that "the sky is falling." In Mr. Gore's scenario he claims that we are responsible for this natural fluctuation in temperature, and that it must lead us to a disaster. In his attempts to gain power, wealth, and prestige, Mr. Gore has created an entire industry. He asserts a false but urgent need to control our lives in order to prevent his imminent, improbable, and wholly imagined, world wide catastrophe. Sadly, there are those who believe these lies even though the science, including that found at JunkScience.com, does not support Mr. Gore's claims. So please, do follow Bumblebee's bold advice. Do look it up. Do try to find the source, and don't be fooled [by Al Gore and those who choose to believe him, no matter how well intentioned they appear to be.] :-) |
