Stop Obama Care Now!

Are we free people, or are we slaves to a Democratic majority bent on taking our freedom to impose its will? I, for one, choose to be free!
Obama Care is to Health Reform what Acorn is to Child Protective Services. It Does Not Work!

by John Gaudio,

I am filled with anger and frustration, at a time I should be filled with the spirit of Christmas.  Our president betrays us, as do majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.  All pretense of bipartisan cooperation is gone.  All hope of a president who represents all the people, has past, and the only change I see coming is a bloodless revolution through which, "we the people" will vote to replace those Representatives and Senators, and in 2012, this president, who have betrayed us.

I should be buying Christmas presents, but the best Christmas present I can get for my wife, my son, my parents, and my friends, is to call and write my Senators and Representatives, and encourage you all to do the same.  It is my hope that some brave Democratic Senator will stand with the vast majority of Americans who oppose this attempt to control our lives through "Health Care Reform."

Hugh Hewett, in a debate last September with Paul Campos said "Obama Care is to Health Reform, what Acorn is to Child Protective Services.  It does not work!"

Please go, as I did, to Free our Health Care Now, and let your Senators and Representative know that you are watching too, and will not only vote for freedom in the next three elections, you will also work for the opponents of any elected official who puts party politics above the good of this nation, and her people.

Here's what I wrote, followed by the boiler plate provided by the Free our Health Care Now site.  Now to the phones!

God Bless you all, and have a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy, prosperous, and freedom loving New Year.

To Senators Michael Bennet and Mark Udall,

"I beg you to put the good of our people and our nation, over the good of your party.  President Obama ran on promises of transparency and the elimination of earmarks.  He promised to bring us together.

How much further apart can we get, than to have 60 Democratic Senators opposing the will of seventy percent of the people, while the remaining 40 Republican Senators work to oppose this terrible mess called Health Care Reform?

The president has resorted to bribery to buy some votes, and extortion, threatening to close critical military facilities in Nebraska, to force others.  This is not the Democratic party of John Kennedy.  The people will remember, through 2010, 2012, and even 2014,what you do now.

I know it's a long shot, but either of you could be the Democratic hero that shoots down Obama Care in the Senate, to the benefit of us all.  I will be watching how you vote.  I will work hard to defeat all who put their political ambitions above the will of the people they represent.  I challenge you to do what is right.

Or, if Obama Care really is viable, I ask that all members of the Congress accept the same health care plan you propose for us.  (That's not gonna happen, is it?)

God Bless and keep you.  I wish you a Merry Christmas, and a wonderful new year, filled, we hope, with new beginnings.

[Boilerplate follows] As your constituent, a voter and taxpayer, I want you to know that I strongly oppose government-run health care.  A government-run health care system will measurably harm the interests of my family and me.  The legislation drafted by the Senate will:

Decrease the quality of my health care.  Under government-run health care, I'll see my doctor for less time, receive less preventative medicine and spend more time waiting for important medical procedures.

Marginalize the health care of seniors.  Under government-run health care, the Greatest Generation will be treated the worst in the health system.

Limit my access to health care.  Under government-run health care, lines will be longer, waiting will increase and doctor-time will decrease.  Additionally, mandated insurance will provide coverage I don't want and deprive me of coverage I need.

Increase cost.  Under government-run health care, costs will balloon beyond recognition.  When the government picks up the tab for health care, neither doctors nor patients have any incentive to reduce cost or limit use.  As a result, the United States will be forced to either increase taxes on middle-class Americans or increase debt to creditor nations.

Please know as you prepare to vote on government-run health care that I will be paying close attention.  It will likely determine how I vote in November."

RE: Stop Obama Care Now!

We the people are out here watching and listening.
We the people are out here watching and listening.  We are Democrat, Republican, and Independent and "You" best be listening to our voices.  Elections are coming and you will feel the bite of our vote if the right and proper thing is not done with the sham that is being shoved on the american people.
