Use Good Search Terms to Improve Web Search Visibility

Anticipating the search terms your potential customers will use on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines, and using those terms in the title and summary of your posts, will greatly improve your web search visibility.

Good search terms are critical.  If you want to promote your Bed and Breakfast, but focus your posts only on cooking, it's not likely that many new guests will find you through the Internet's search engines.

  • Find potential clients and ask them, "If you were looking on the Internet for a Bed & Breakfast in Colorado, what would you Google?"
  • Select the best answers, pick some of your own, and check out other resources.
  • Make it a point to incorporate those search phrases into the titles and summaries of your posts.

Remember to post early, post often, and post with a purpose, for High Web Search Visibility.
