Print advertising, or banner advertising is a single-dimension medium; people see it, they react, or they don't. Aside from the obviously better visibility in search engines, RSS (containing your message) is a far different beast - it surfaces in many places and through many contexts; the desktop, portals, other search engines, aggregated syndication vehicles. It (unlike other forms of promotion) is not bound to any given communication process, and therefore, the scalability and transportability of you're message is without limitation.
