Post Early and Post Often. Good goals that I failed here to meet.

Thanks to those who pointed out that I failed to follow my own advice on Search Engine Optimization, by failing to update my Blogsite. Fortunately the Briefings channels remain fresh, and for that reason I'm still pretty visible.

Thanks to Rok Hrastnik in his article, "Testing the Impact of RSS Powered Blogsites 'Live'," I've gotten back on track with my blogging.

It's been far too long since I posted here, but I'm getting back into the habit.  Google is still doing strange things, but other search engines seem to make sense.  For example.  Search for

Web Search Visibility

without quotes on

Yahoo we're #1 & #9, with a related site at number 4.

MSN Search we're down at #34, but gaudio.com shows up as # 4.

Ask Jeaves  we're #6

Google is still strange.  With quotes we're at #3 & #4.  Related sites, with quotes, are at #1 & #5.  With the quotes my cloud in Google covers forty percent of the top ten, but in Google, without the quotes, ABetterBlogsite.com doesn't even show up in the top 100.

Google has been doing strange things since the beginning of the year.  If anyone can explain this I'd be delighted to hear from you.  Please call me at 303-933-4497, or email me, John@Gaudio.com.

Still we're doing pretty well after messing up big time by failing to manually post anything on http://ABetterBlogsite.com for over a month, and nothing on this particular blog for several months.   Fortunately the Briefings Channels post every day, without fail.

Sincere thanks to Rok & Andy, who pointed out my shortcomings.  It helps keep me on my toes.

John
