I wrote a post yesterday titled Delta Hell. It was in the Google Top ten in no time, as were the next two posts I wrote on the Great Google Findability of my Delta Hell post.
by John Gaudio,
This has to be more than a coincidence. When the first post was picked up in hours, it was a pleasant surprise. When the second was picked up a few hours later, it looked like a trend. Now that my third post on Delta Hell has been picked up on Google, less than 24 hours after the first was found, and only a couple of hours after the second, I'm convinced it has something to do with the Magic under the covers of my MyST BlogsiteTM.
A MyST BlogsiteTM is designed to make things happen automatically. Blog about what you know, and Google, Yahoo, and other search engines tend to find it quickly, and rank it highly. Great Google Findability is easy, if you blog frequently on topics you know. No special Search Engine Optimization is required, because it's already built into the MyST BlogsiteTM.
Certainly there are brilliant bloggers on other platforms, focusing much of their time on search engine optimization to make their blog posts shine on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. They're very smart, creative, and focused on the arts of Blogging, and Search Engine Optimization, (SEO).
A MyST BlogsiteTM is designed for marketing people who blog. These people are also very smart and creative, but their focus is on the marketing of their products, services, clients, and companies. Many of them don't have time to focus on SEO and blog optimization, so they let the wizards at MyST Technology Partners do that part for them, under the covers, by magic.
A MyST BlogsiteTM is much more than a typical blog, costs much more than a typical blog, and produces results that are orders of magnitude greater than the results typically produced by typical blogs.
So why isn't my first post still showing up in the top ten? Google normally shows only two posts from any given URL, at least near the top, on any given search. When I search once more for Delta Hell on Google, I find that my two most recent posts are in spots two and three of Google's top ten, and my first post, the one that actually discusses my disagreement with the people at Delta, has been dropped from the list in favor of the other two.
So be careful what you blog about, and the key words you choose to use. Fortunately you can still find my original post by following my link at the bottom of this post. Here's how my posts are ranking with Google for Delta Hell as I post this.
