by John Gaudio, Posted 2:36 PM. Picked up by Google about 1:30 AM, 02/28/08. (about 11 hours) If you like golf, you'll love the Denver Golf Expo. Produced by Expo Masters, the Denver Golf Expo brings together thousands of golf enthusiasts from toddlers that can barely walk, to seniors who've never lost their love of this great game. I saw Train Eye, a tool to help your putting, met several beautiful caddies at the Caddy Chick booth, and some other lovely ladies at the Sassy Golf booth. I tasted an outstanding rum, The Golden Sun, at the Tommy Bahamas Rum booth. There were shirts, clubs, ball retrievers, vests, and everything else I can imagine a golfer might need. Even though there were thousands of people there, the show was laid out in a way that let me move around easily, even with my cameras. An indoor driving range made it possible to check out the latest clubs, and get a quick golf fix even though there was still snow on the ground outside. Lynn and Mark Cramer even took the time to fill me in on how Mark's passion for golf caused them to purchase and produce the Denver Golf Expo, and what they love most about it. This year's sponsors include The PGA Colorado section, the Colorado Golf Association, Sprint, air-cool, Cleveland Golf, Tommy Bahama Rum, OUTBACK Steakhouse, Fullers, Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course, Golf Views, Golf Digest and GolfColorado.com. The next Denver Golf Expo will be February 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2009. |
