Congratulations on your historic victory. I worked hard for John McCain, but the people have spoken, and you will be our next president. God bless you, and guide you. You will be my president. You are in my prayers. |
by John Gaudio, 10:06 PM I did not vote for you. I don't agree with you on many issues, yet, I offer you my congratulations, and my prayers. You face an awesome responsibility, not only to those who voted for you, but to all of us. I pray that as you lead our country, you will be moved to reconsider some of your positions, and that you will do what is best for us all. I am still a conservative. I will continue working for a country in which hard work is rewarded, and the protection of innocent human life, both before and after birth, is paramount. We will continue to disagree on many issues. You may find, as you take on this awesome responsibility, that some of the things you thought were right while you were campaigning, would be more harmful than you anticipated. You promised to unify us. In that, I wish you much success. We cannot abandon those who have trusted us. Bring our soldiers home, but bring them home only when they have secured a solid peace. Do not allow their great sacrifice to be in vain. God bless, protect, and guide you as you lead us. |
