| June 15, 2010 | | Dan Maes, Candidate for Colorado Governor, talks with DTC Rotary Club members last Tuesday, June 8, 2010. | By John Gaudio,
Many thanks to Rob Packard, who invited me as his guest to hear Colorado Republican primary gubernatorial candidate Dan Meas address the DTC Rotary club last Tuesday evening. The Rotarians are not endorsing any candidate. Scott McInnis, the other Colorado Republican primary gubernatorial candidate, was also offered an opportunity to address the group.
Dan Maes wants to:
1) Downsize state government.
2) Beg forgiveness from the energy industry, that has left the state.
3) Cut Taxes. If we have strong revenue and profits coming in, we can cut taxes.
Please enjoy Dan's twenty two minute address. Then check the links below for more information on the candidates, and the DTC Rotary Club. No matter who you support for governor, please take the time to learn about all the candidates, the issues, and your options. Get involved in the process, talk with your neighbors, even when they disagree with you, and above all, take the time to vote this August in the primaries, and in the general election this November. The choices are huge. 2010 may well be the most important election year we have ever seen. | | |
